January challenge: Recognize the present

The new year is traditionally associated with making resolutions for the future, but this January I challenge you to make a list of the things you are grateful for right now, in this very moment.  Write down at least seven to ten things — more if you want to!  Then hang your list in a place where you will regularly see it throughout the day, as a reminder of all the good, the wonderful, the exciting, the fabulous things in your life right now.

Life is about so much more than the future.  Life is where you are right now.  Today, take the time to acknowledge and honour that special place.  It’s yours alone, and it deserves to be celebrated!
